Management Team
In the newly created position of vice president of corporate sales for 24 Hour Fitness, Kevin recently led the transition of their decentralized club-based sales channel into a dedicated and high performing team that focused on generating contracts with new corporate clients and subsequently marketing to their employees to produce incremental club memberships throughout the US. During the 7 years prior to 24 Hour Fitness, Kevin was vice president of national accounts for Sprint PCS. Joining the company prior to its market launches, he was responsible for designing the business plan, programs and processes for the nationwide corporate sales channel. Ultimately, he led a regional team that produced over $170 million in annual recurring revenue. His initial 4 years of experience in the wireless industry was with McCaw Cellular Communications where he was responsible for implementing the very first corporate and government account sales channel. Kevin has managed teams ranging from 7 to over 200 sales associates and has built or enhanced 8 separate sales organizations. To complement his career experience, Kevin holds and MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington and earned a BS in Business Administration and Management from Indiana University. Lee Vallely, co-founder of Corporate Sales Strategies, LLC has over 17 years of experience in the fitness industry ranging from health and fitness programming to high volume sales and club ownership. Her extensive knowledge of corporate sales is the result of 10 years of exclusive focus on the corporate market. Her successful sales model has generated highly profitable, multi-million dollar recurring revenue streams, and solid member retention for numerous fitness clubs throughout the US. For the last three years, Lee has consulted with club operators to develop corporate sales and worksite wellness programs. Her consulting firm, Corporate Wellness Solutions, offered sales training, employee marketing solutions, worksite wellness programs, online enrollment, billing software, and web-based human resource manager dashboards for both her club clients and their corporate accounts. Before forming her consulting firm, Lee was the national director of corporate sales for Gold’s Gym International. She designed and implemented the initial corporate sales division for the company and managed their national sales team. During the 8 years prior to Gold’s Gym, Lee was an owner of the Austin based World Gym club chain, and was their director of corporate sales. She was responsible for creating their corporate sales department and grew the business to over two million dollars throughout approximately 350 corporate accounts. Lee was awarded full partner status after three years. Lee spent her first six years in the fitness industry as the senior fitness director with the YMCA of Austin. Lee joined the fitness industry after a five year career as a professional ballet and modern dancer in San Francisco and New York City. Lee holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alabama in Birmingham (UAB). She has been a presenter on the topic of corporate sales at 3 IHRSA conventions. She is accredited by the American Council on Exercise and certified as a National Fitness Specialist. |
